In addition to providing a generous serving of plant-based protein, this fall smoothie gets an even bigger nutrient boost thanks to superfoods like flaxseed, chia seeds, maca, and cacao.
Serves 1
Ingredients
- ½ cup pumpkin puree
- 1 serving Vega Sport Performance Protein Vanilla
- 1 frozen peeled banana
- 1 cup water or unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tsp ground flaxseed
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp Vega Maca powder
- ¼ tsp pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves)
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 4 ice cubes
- Cacao nibs
Preparation
- Combine all ingredients except for the ice in a blender and puree until almost smooth.
- Add the ice and continue blending until completely crushed.
- Pour into a class and sprinkle with a little extra cinnamon and cacao nibs. Enjoy!
